This piece is supposed on the warm lights when it cones to the comfort of studying in a library. As thus piece focuses on a childs’s purpose to study and get an education. Its supposed to feel cozy. Prcoess: idea, sketch, base colors Materials - Procreate  

This piece is supposed to be simple but heavily tie back to my investigation as the original idea is everyone is drunk on something to push on in life but eventually it becomes a deadly. The hand in the picture is quite literally reaching for another drink and is drunk on alcohol. The over consumption of Alcohol has ruined a lot of peoples lives.   Everyone is drunk on something, this piece is physically showing that concept. A hand is reaching for a drink and the drink will represent human ambition. Im still working on ideas to demonstrate the concept with a drink Materials - procreate Process - sketch until i get idea, base colors

This piece is supposed to be romantic in a dark kind of way. I tried to make her falling graceful in a shining light but into deaths arm. She’s in a wedding dress to represent love and her bond. The grim reaper is holding out his arms to her. This piece is supposed to represent how love can become and unhealthy obsession that causes us to deadly and irrational things that kill us. There are still a few small detials I wanna clean up but I think the overall image reads well. Process: Anatomical Sketch, Background, Base Coloring, Rendering, Shading Materials: Procreate

 So again, I decided to take a drastically different approach on the final version and I am tremendously happy that I did. I’ll talk about the meaning and then the composition. This piece is supposed to represent human’s incapability to understand everything and how we slowly bleed out from this obsession of trying to understand everything. So your immediate attention should be the iris. If not, and it’s the bright red blood, it will lead you to the iris, as it’s all connected. The pupil is also a black hole that has been cut by a bleeding wound. The black hole is there to represent our lack of understanding in the universe as blackholes are also very mysterious. The blood cut is in the black hole to represent our attempt to understand it but as we do so we also harm ourselves as we have lost countless lives trying to study space.
